My name is Divya, an Illustrator and Graphic Designer from India currently based in the UK.

I have always been drawn towards art and design since quite a young age. I’m addicted to colors and am a maniac for details. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades since I do not limit myself to one medium, style, or concept and when I hit a creative block, I veer left to explore other things.

Art would not exist without the ability to actualize a thought or concept. The driving force behind my work is an enduring interest in animals, the human spirit, and my emotional resonance, which is a consistent quest in itself to produce results in the most effective way that decipher the thoughts I have about myself and the world we live in.

As an artist, I’ve always felt compelled to do something that can make a difference. By contesting the division between the realm of memory and the realm of experience, who I am as an artist has been going through massive changes and I often need a purpose to spark creativity. I’m comfortable with both traditional and digital methods.

Apart from creating beautiful artwork, I’m dedicated in creating art that can raise awareness and enhance the well-being of individuals, society, and our environment, thus, most often, my inspiration comes from nature but I also enjoy creating portraits and wall murals of all kinds.

When people see my work, I want them to enjoy a sense of fulfillment, spur thinking and engagement as well as feel motivated. I want my art to evoke a sense of nourishment, beauty, and soulfulness that can satisfy the viewer just the way food satisfies our taste buds.
